GreyNoise Boosts Google Cloud SecOps with Real‑Time Malicious IP Enrichment
GreyNoise has expanded its native integration with Google Cloud’s Security Command Center (SCC), automatically annotating alerts with live intelligence on known malicious IP addresses and noisy actors. When SCC ingests a finding, GreyNoise supplies context such as threat reputation, activity patterns, and confidence scores, allowing analysts to see at a glance whether an IP is part of a targeted campaign or merely background noise.
The enhancement also lets GCP customers enforce configurable blocklists derived from GreyNoise data across their workloads, reducing exposure to high‑risk traffic without manual rule creation. For defenders, this means faster triage, fewer false positives, and a streamlined way to harden cloud assets against active threat actors using a single, continuously updated intelligence source.
