Cloudflare Deploys AI‑Powered Account Abuse Shield

Cloudflare has rolled out Account Abuse Protection, an AI‑driven system that continuously models API call patterns across its global network. By learning normal usage baselines for each customer, the platform can automatically spot anomalous requests—such as credential‑stuffing, token abuse, or scripted attacks—and block them before they reach the targeted account.

For defenders, this means a significant reduction in noisy, low‑signal alerts and a tighter barrier against automated abuse that can compromise credentials or service availability.
